Santa Monica

Vova, Barry, Sue and I went to the Promenade today. It was nice until I got a headache in the car. We ate at this asian food place where we got these fortune cookies. I've seen some pretty bad fortunes but these were just atrocious.
I don't know if you can make them out from the pictures but mine says: "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day." Vova's: "Have a 'grape' day." What? Have a "grape" day? I think they might have thought it was humorous because "grape" kind of sounds like "great", but why grape? Is there some sort of a pun that I'm not catching? Sue's and Barry's were normal fortunes.

  1. That's the 4th or 5th time I read/heard the term "grape day" this week.

...and no, I don't get what it means. Not even Google comes up with a convincing answer.
