First Day of Fall

Happy first day of fall, friends!

I was just thinking back to what I was up to last year and the year before on this very day. Although there are few blog posts in this time period, I have taken lots of photos to look back on.

Two years ago today, I was in Zermatt.

Two years! Gah, it feels impossible that it's only been two years. Feels like a lifetime. Watching the video made me a little teary. So much has changed, and somehow so little. (I literally wore exactly the same clothes this week. Slouchy jeans + gray sweatshirt really stood the test of time. :)

Life is insane. Even the little bit I know of it.

Happy Birthday, Vova!

My brother turns 29(!!) today.

Alex is making Momofuku's Bo Ssam recipe all day today, and I'm so so excited to try it with Vova and Jackie tonight! For the first time in forever, Vova and I live in the same city. Being able to hang out, have brunch together at the spur of the moment is just the best.

Happy birthday, Vova! Thank you for being such a smart and wise best friend.

Have a Fun (Long) Weekend!

Phew. It's Friday.

Is it weird that I feel like a failure for not having big Labor Day weekend plans? Alex and I are going on a long run on Saturday. And on Sunday we are getting together with some friends at a park and playing some games (kanjam, spikeball! yayyy!), eating sausages, and hanging out with dogs. :) Basically trying to forget that summer is ending.

Sending you lots of love, wherever you are.

P.S. I made a playlist of songs I used to listen to in high school, and it's such a throwback. Alex and I have been sharing so many stories we wouldn't have otherwise remembered. Crazy how music can just take you back.
