About

this is me on a backpacking trip to Matterhorn Peak (2009)

Hi! I'm Olga. I live in the SF Bay Area with my cats. Choosing to major in Computer Science is the second best thing that has ever happened to me. I graduated from UCLA in 2011, and now develop software for living. It's super fun. (You should try it!)

I am a zeroth-generation American. I was born in Penza, Russia, and my parents still live there recently moved here. My brother and I moved to the States when I was 12, and he was 15 years old. We used to juggle. Juggling is the reason we got a chance to live in the US. (Moving to America is the best thing that's happened to me.) I feel like I was born and raised here, even though that's quite far from the truth.

Besides programming, I like to cook and to dance. I try to incorporate those to the best of my ability. But when I'm just dancing, it's usually ballet.

This blog is here just for fun.

What does CS stand for?
Computer Science. I started this blog shortly after I decided to major in Computer Science (I was majoring in Math before - gasp!), and now I'm stuck with this silly name.

Can I email you?
Yes! Send cat pictures here, please.
