Day 128: At last

 

We had Alex's family over for Cinco de Mayo themed mother's day. We served carnitas, mexican rice, and big bowls of guac. My mom made the most beautiful flower arrangements out of Trader Joe's flowers and every mom took home a bouquet. For dessert I made last-page-of-Jamberry-inspired tres leches cake. It was a good time, for the most part.

Alex's aunt and uncle gave Tommy a bunchhhh of books and a hedgehog finger puppet. The note says: "We're so happy to meet you at last". Some people always just know the right thing to say.
