Loving Life, Loving YOU
We just got back from our trip to Joshua Tree. It was short (only one night and one day), but so good. The weather was perfect. It was over 60 degrees at night and wasn't too hot during the day. We rock-climbed all day today. JT also helped me practice throwing (the frisbee). I learned how to thumb flick and other useless (but cool) throws. My flick was so wobbly today, it was horrible.
Climbing was so much fun. I will likely post more pictures later. There were no injuries except JT's ear and finger getting attacked by a bush, other scratches and my scabbed pinky.
The pinky didn't really hurt, what hurt and still hurts now are the pads of my fingers. I feel like somebody took a layer of skin off each one. It hurts to type. There were many times, while climbing, I was about to quit because my fingers were not happy. It wasn't that my arms or legs were giving out, it's that I could not feel my fingers. (Oh, but the satisfaction of getting to the top...)
These pictures are a better representative of how I'm feeling right now. I never want to forget this feeling. I enjoyed every second of this weekend and I am so happy.
ReplyDeleteHaha. I love how I have 4 comments from you guys. This wasn't at all dangerous. I'll show you pictures later.
