Day 100: Books

 
We started reading books more often after getting back from Argentina. His favorite toy that we brought to Argentina was the Lovevery wooden "book" that's really just black-and-white drawings of animals and you make up a story that weaves them together. It was a relief to not have to do that anymore and read real books.

Anyway, turns out kids books are great. The great ones are great. There's also a lot of crap that I've started weeding out of our collection. I hateeee the very literal ones: "Camping is when you go outside and sleep in a tent. You can bring a flashlight." Yawwwwwn. Jamberry and Baby Beluga are our favorites so far. I caved and ordered some more books today.
