Day 105: Mismatched feelings

 

I walked over to the library to pick up a book I had on hold. I couldn't leave without browsing and picking up a couple of cookbooks. I met a mom with her two toddlers in the cookbook aisle. She asked, "Is this your first?" I confirmed and she says "You look so relaxed, like you're a seasoned veteran at this." Nope, nope, nope -- definitely not how I feel. I've gotten that comment before and I'm always shocked to hear it.
