The first season of Homeland became available on the iTunes store (here) on Thursday. And just in time. I definitely used it to drown my sorrow in TV over the weekend. I watched the whole season in one weekend. WADDUP! I love, love, love Claire Danes' character (and her!), as well as Mandy Patinkin's.

I was a bit perplexed at the amount of screen-time (nude) titties were getting, but it seemed to mellow out toward the latter half of the season. Or maybe I just got used to it. It's hard to tell at this juncture.

And if that doesn't intrigue you, consider this short clip.

  1. Yes, the boobs are great! Or is that not what you are saying... I guess I sometimes forget that everyone doesn't have my exact point of view towards the world. That's cable for you though. Unfortunately, season 2 has much less boobs; I can only think of one scene. :P

Season 2 is superb. Maybe it'll be out on iTunes in a year. ;) I can't remember if season 1 was like this to the same degree, but so many episodes end with "holy shit!" unbearable cliffhangers, and I'm going to have to insist that, when you watch it, you wait a week between each episode like I have to, so that you share my pain. Or, at the very least, imagine what it would be like to have to wait a week before you start the next episode.

Claire Danes is an unbelievable actress. I need to watch Temple Grandin, for which she also got an Emmy.

    1. I share your views wholeheartedly, Narcissus.

    2. I am suddenly struck by your wisdom -- I can't quite put my finger on it.
