Ever since Forrest made me this steak salad, I've been craving the crispy scalloped potatoes in it. (A salad with potatoes in it is my kind of salad :) Topped with sour cream and dill, it's the perfect mix of hot/cool/salty/tangy. And unlike the steak salad, this is a true 30 minute dinner from grabbing the cutting board to licking the plate.
Mama taught me how to make great potatoes, grandma introduced me to dill and told me that sometimes a cucumber is just bitter and you have to pick another one, and Deb showed me how to scramble eggs. Thanks to these ladies, an easy dinner was born.
